TGIF. The CDC reports that this year is already shaping up to be a bad flu season. I would know, the flu has invaded my house and has taken a choke hold over my family members . It has been a difficult couple of days, but my family is now on the mends and on a lot of antibiotics. I wish my wife and kids a speedy recovery. Fortunately, I have not gotten sick so, I must train.
Day 9 of training. 2 hour training.
20 minute Warm up
100 uchikomi (form practice left and right double collar uchi-mata variation)
10 nagikomi (throw practice left and right double collar uchi-mata variation)
25 x 2 set-push ups
25 x 2 set-supine bicycle sit ups
25 x 2 set hindu squats
50 x 2 set leg rotations
5 x 5 minute rounds newaza (ground technique sparring)
3 x 3 minute rounds motodashi (straight set nagewaza sparring)
3 x 3 minute rounds randori (nagewaza sparring)
5 minutes of cool down.
25 grams protein powder sport shake to recover.
Time to cool off from the inside out with some ice cold Bud Light Lime.
As of this morning, no soda all week, no fast food, minimal carbs.
Weighed in this morning 204 lbs (92 kg) . Feeling good. Thank you to all my training partners.
