DAY 2 of the GRECO-ROMAN WRESTLING OF THE 2012 OLYMPIC IN LONDON.  Here is match that was pretty exciting as a amateur wrestling viewer.  The match was fast paced and eventful.  With a big throw and a challenge against it, on the edge of  the seat watching the match.  Here are a few snap shots of the match.

Entering the mat.  Bilici Rahman of  Turkey and Matsumoto Ryutaro of Japan.

The match begins, Rahman and Ryutaro clinch.  Ryutaro rushes Rahman out-of-bounds to score one point.  The period ends.  Ryutaro wins first period.

Secound period begins.  Rahman and Ryutaro clinch.  Rahman attempts a armdrag, no score.  Ryutaro defends and takes Rahman back with a body lock.

The match continues after a stop time.  A challenge by the Turkish team.  Results in favor for Japan resulting in five points.  One for the take down, three for the Gut-wrench throw and one for lost challenge against Turkey.

Matsumoto Ryutaro wins the Men’s Greco-Roman 60 kg 1/8 final contest to move on to the next round.  Exciting match.  More rounds to follow.  Workout, drink be merry.
